Part of a series of #makelawbetter alerts about opportunities for you to join a project to . . . make law better!
Suffolk Law's Legal Innovation & Technology Lab has launched the Document Assembly Line Project, an assembly line to rapidly create mobile-friendly online court forms and pro se materials for key areas of urgent legal need amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Though this project is focused on Massachusetts specific content, LIT Lab is sharing its work on GitHub in the hopes that their efforts can be replicated in other jurisdictions. All novel code generated will be licensed under an MIT License, and they're intentionally building on the open source docassemble platform. Here's what LIT LAB is doing, and how you can help.
